Gruff: An Eco-friendly Furniture

Eco-friendly furniture includes those that are made from sustainable materials like bamboo, corrugated cardboard, recycled items and more. They attract the eyes of many environmentalists around the globe. Designer arno Mathies is just one of the eco-friendly designers that was inspired by the concept and created the Gruff, a series of eco-furniture made from laminated, corrugated cardboard, and was assembled using some housing joints. With the materials used for the furniture, the designer has considered his piece as disposable or permanent furniture for household and office use. I presume those furniture included in the gruff collection composed of a table, chair, and a display shelf.

  1. This eco friendly furniture is indeed superb. I have 2 at home anyways (2nd and 3rd picture). The only problem I have with them is that they tend to get kind of cranky when sitting on them during summer and it pisses me a lot. My wife avoids them completely during those time and it’s of the things I hate about it but over all cool.
