Westside Road: An Eco-friendly Home On Top OF The Hill
With the aim to help save the environment, architect Dowling Kimm is joining forces with any other architects and designers in designing eco-friendly homes. One of his latest is the Westside Road project built on top of the Hill in Healdsburg, California. With the house’s location, the Westside Project offers a panoramic view of the Russian Valley to its residents. The house is built facing South in order to maximize the efficiency of its solar panels as well as benefits provided by direct sunlight on summer months. In addition to that, the home uses energy star rated appliances allowing its resident to practice an eco-friendly lifestyle.
