There are artists, crafters, makers, builders, carpenters and all other types of artisans right here in our own backyards, and our hope is that when you think of beautiful, handcrafted products from across the globe, you think of them too. Buying domestically can be more eco-conscious, as it reduces transportation needs and consequently the energy and natural resources expended in the process; this makes us huge proponents of shopping locally.Succulents do not require a great deal of care, but please keep the following in mind when caring for your succulents. Succulents prefer bright light, but cannot tolerate intense direct sunlight. Succulents that are under too much light intensity will have a bleached appearance and succulents without enough light will become elongated and appear to "reach for sunlight." Over-watering succulents can cause the plants to die. To water your succulents, use a spray bottle to avoid over-watering.
You may notice a smell accompanying the root of earth items due to the natural oil that is used to finish them. This oil is food safe and to thin the oil you can be wipe off the board with a dry clean cloth.
Succulents need a brightly lit area but not intense or direct sunlight. Be sure not to over water, as there are no drain holes in the included root of the earth bowl - simply mist with spray bottle. If succulents start elongating they need more light, if they start looking bleached they are receiving too much intense sunlight. Bonus: Cut back tips and replant them to grown your own succulents!
Suitable for use indoors or out. If placed outdoors avoid direct sun exposure, heat or excessive moisture.
Root products are untreated, so cracks and natural variations will likely occur with age and drying. We recommend you keep these items out of direct sunlight or heat. Regular oiling with food-grade oil-such as olive oil-will help to maintain moisture and luster. The natural finish may develop a mild tackiness; to remedy, simply wipe clean with a light coat of olive oil.
