The Nova Vertical Wind Turbine: Efficient Source Of Energy

To address the current environmental problem that we are facing currently, more and more designers and engineers are always in action of searching and alternative source of energy. Joining with those successful and hopeful green innovators, is the chief executive officer of ETI (Energy Technologies Institute) Dr. David Clarke with the help of three universities namely Cranfield University, Sheffield University, and Strathclyde University, alongside with QinetiQ, and Wind Power Limited. He has invented the Nova vertical wind turbine that aims to produce 1GW of power from offshore vertical axis turbines by 2020 with a simpler maintenance as compared to the traditional wind turbines.
