Unit Fusion High-rise Residential Building Concept Can Be The Newest Eco-friendly Building In Hong Kong

Green architecture is growing and many architects including the Y Design, who is at present designing the Unit Fusion High-rise Residential Building Concept, embracing this practice to give their fair share of saving the environment. The said eco-friendly building concept will be built in Hong Kong and will feature 75 floors of studio, 1, 2, and 3 BR units. The building is a pre-fabricated type, therefore, we can expect a less carbon footprints during construction. The exterior finish of the building will also be made of pre-fabricated steel panels and glass panels.

Unit Fusion Features
Like any other residential units, the Unit Fusion will also present all essential features like the kitchen, bathroom or powder room, closet, balcony, and entry or façade. Each unit is modularized to allow its occupants to configure or arrange the unit according to their need. Each unit of the Unit Fusion will have a life cycle of 30 years and will be under maintenance every five years to ensure the high quality living condition it can provide to its residents.

Mostly of the eco-friendly architecture I have heard are made of recycled materials or have featured different eco-friendly features like solar power, wind mills, and the like. The Recyclable Basketball Stadium is very new to me. I have never heard of a recyclable building ever since, until the birth of the Recyclable Basketball Stadium in London, which just recently had its groundbreaking. Constructed and designed for 2012 Olympic Games, the Basketball Stadium is designed to be deconstructed or recycled, which is obvious a reason enough to call it green architecture. In addition, the building is made of 1,000 tons of recyclable steel.

Net Lima: The Philippines’ First Green Building Project

Green architecture is now everywhere, which is a mere indication that saving the environment is getting the attention of the world. In the Philippines, one of the countries in South East Asia, Chad Oppenheim is selected to design the country’s first green building. Built under the country’s own green building rating system called BERDE or the Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence, the Net Lima is just one of the three towers that are under construction at the Net Metropolis. The building features a façade that serves as sunshade and glass curtain that minimizes solar heat gain. On the other hand, the façade also gives the building occupants to optimize natural light, thus minimizing the use of electricity during daytime.

City Green Court: Another Green Architecture In Prague, Czech Republic

Business entities are now starting to be engaged in green architecture. The Sports Park Stozice: A Hybrid Building in Ljubljana City, Slovenia
