The Detroit Electric Car is Trying to Beat Tesla

Electric cars are getting better and better nowadays, and the one that is destined to beat Tesla is about to be born on June. The Detroit Electric car is what I am talking about in the form of the Proton Persona that is 100 percent electric powered for abut RM80K. It is not only an eco-friendly car but does also look superb that surely no one can afford to resist. In addition, maintaining the Detroit Electric is compared to maintaining an electric motor to gearbox, wherein the costs and maintenance procedures are similar, and charging the battery will take about seven hours, but a fast charger will let you charge in less than half an hour.

Because of Australia’s vision of developing and electric vehicle recharging network, I can see some solid use of an electric vehicle by 2012. People don’t need to worry anymore if they will be out of power because there will already be a network of recharging station for them to use and charge their cars. The project will be done in with the US firm Better Place, Australian power company AGL, and investors Macquire Capital Group who will be working out together to make to project possible. I am excited for this project to com into reality, for using an electric vehicle can be a big saving from gas and a big help to keep the environment air pollution free.
