Architects and their structure designs are now getting friendly with the environment, which is much favorable compared to those who built elegant and eye-catching structures that do not do well to the environment in return. The Canada Pavilion is a structure built by SNC-lavalin Inc., a Canadian engineering and construction company. Being the biggest that can be found at the site, the Canada Pavillion has various eco-friendly features that include some greenery, rainwater collecting system with the use of a drainage system inside the pavilion. This eco-friendly pavilion can be found at the Huangpu river particularly on the Pudong side of the said river.

Water sources are diminishing each day and will soon vanish if we will not make a move in saving the environment and eventually our water resources. An entry to the 2010 Skyscraper competition by Evolo called the Water Tower can possibly the answer to our worries. This skyscraper has the ability to pump water from an underground lake. Designed by H3AR, this tower will also houses a treatment plant, hospital, school, and food storage center. Aside from pumping water from a lake, various eco-friendly features of this tower include dry clay brick mixing earth, cement, and water in order to reduce environmental impact.

Recycling is one of the basic acts and the simplest thing to do in order to help save the environment. Everybody can afford to do this, and the talented designers from India are just one of the living proof. Adnan Tanvir of Janson and Company has submitted their eco-friendly product to Igreen, which Igreen in turn is happy to share with everyone. Their products include various Christmas décor and tree made of vegetables. Included also in their sustainable products are various washbasins and pales that are made from recycled tires. All of the products looks like made of first hand materials.
