With this wonderful product, people will get to appreciate the beauty of nature while minimizing the growth of landfills as they recycle things.

Dong the laundry is probably the toughest job ever mom has causing the need of owning a washing machine to raise. As the need for a washing machine rises, the energy consumption of every house rises accordingly. Laundering, a concept washing machine design will surely minimize the energy consumption of ever household. Laundering is a pedal powered washing machine designed by Shang-Che Wu. Since it is a pedal power machine, it obviously does not need any electricity to operate thus will help save energy and time from washing via hand by those from developing countries. In addition, Laundering can also be placed in one corner as a laundry basket thus, saving some space.

Drinking bottled water and other refreshing drinks is a wide practice worldwide, thus resulting into mountains and mountains of landfill filled with empty and used PET bottles. To help reduce or minimize the growth of landfills of PET bottles, the Santa Cruz family from Pureto Iguazu, Argentina have designed an eco-friendly castle called as the La Casa de Botellas. The whole castle is made of recycled PET bottles.

Below is the list of number of bottles used in each part of the house.
• 1200 PET plastic bottles in its walls
• 1300 milk and wine Tetra Pack containers in its roof
• 140 compact disk boxes in its doors and windows
• 120 PET plastic bottles in the couches
• 200 PET plastic bottles in the bed

Floating structures are now growing in numbers with the growing problem of space in congested cities. Dutch architects Studio Noach and Anne Holtrop together with garden innovator Patric Blac have created the floating island wherein people can enjoy having a luxury spa while experiencing a soothing view of the green landscape. The floating island’s exterior is covered with an insulating shell of greenery, which is made possible by Patrick Blanc, which also serves as a breeding ground for creatures like birds, butterflies and insects. This one of a kind floating island will have a foundation made of buoyant material made of recycled polystyrene and will be constructed from GreenRexwall.

We all wanted to do something to help save the environment and many of us from various designers to different consumers are into various ways to keep the environment safe from possible harm like the global warming that we are currently experiencing. The Cardboard Tubes office design by Suppose design office for Kazuin Ltd is just a mere example of eco-friendly designs. We all know the cardboard are an earth friendly material and presumably the tubes used are made of recycled cardboard for a lesser impact to the environment. The tubes create a wonderful cave like design allowing the office visitor to have a feeling of being connected with the environment.
