As part of BMW’s dedication continuous research for cleaner mobility BMW 750hl, (a hydrogen powered vehicle) was born. It is a hybrid car with 12-cylinder 5.4 Liter combustion engine with two independent fuel induction systems, controlled electronically, which allows the BMW 750hl to run on either gasoline (petrol) or hydrogen. The hydrogen engine of BMW 750hl has a specially insulated 140-liter tank for hydrogen liquid which made the car run for up to 220 miles. Hydrogen works on BMW 750hl by injecting it to the combustion chamber and mixed with an excess of air which primarily causes a spark.
